Site Manager – Civil, Structural, Architectural (CSA)

About the role

Join Tesla’s Design & Construction team at the Gigafactory Berlin‑Brandenburg as a Site Manager responsible for the on‑site execution of Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CSA) works. You will ensure that all construction activities meet design specifications, German regulations, and Tesla’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on‑site construction activities for CSA scopes, ensuring compliance with design documentation, technical specifications, and German standards (DIN, VDI, DBV, regional building codes).
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to verify work accuracy and compliance with drawings.
• Direct and coordinate site teams, including craft personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers, aligning them with project plans, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety regulations in accordance with German occupational safety laws (ArbSchG) and the Construction Site Ordinance.
• Identify deviations, quality issues, and technical conflicts, implementing corrective actions in coordination with the Construction Manager.
• Serve as the primary on‑site point of contact for client representatives and external stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Manager or in a similar leadership role on large‑scale EPC or advanced manufacturing projects.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills with a strong focus on field execution and quality control.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal); German language skills are preferred.
• Solid understanding of German building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
