PMO Project Management Intern

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Management Intern to join the Program Management Office at Stark in Munich. In this role you will act as the connective tissue between engineering and operations, helping complex defence hardware and software programmes move faster.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in tracking project milestones and workstreams using Jira and Confluence, keeping task statuses current.
• Support the organization of cross‑functional meetings, capture decisions, track action items and follow up with owners.
• Help build and maintain project dashboards and status reports for leadership, highlighting program health and risks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Ensure project documentation is structured, audit‑ready and easily accessible for engineering, production and operations teams.
• Coordinate logistics such as preparing hardware prototypes for testing windows.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or between a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Previous internship or work experience in project management, consulting or a fast‑paced engineering environment is a plus.
• Strong organisational ability and a talent for turning ambiguous information into clear plans.
