Data Scientist

About the role

LuxExperience, the leading digital luxury group, is looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to join its global team. You will work closely with commercial and marketing stakeholders to create intelligent data automations and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions across the company’s portfolio of luxury e‑commerce brands.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate data needs into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, train, deploy, and monitor machine‑learning, recommendation, and Generative AI models in production.
• Build scalable, maintainable data pipelines and applications that support day‑to‑day operations.
• Write production‑grade code and integrate models using Databricks, MLflow, and related tooling.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the Data Science team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 + years of professional experience in data science or a similar role.
• Proven track record of deploying at least five models that deliver consistent business value.
• Strong foundation in statistics, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Working knowledge of PySpark, GIT, CI/CD, and Object‑Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Databricks and MLflow.
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex and vector databases with embedding models.
• Proficiency with Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence) and development environments like PyCharm or Visual Studio.
