DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

Join Holidu’s central DevOps team and help power the infrastructure behind a fast‑growing vacation‑rental platform. You will work on cloud services, container orchestration, and automation to ensure reliable, secure, and cost‑effective operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi or CDK.
• Operate and monitor AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Elasticache, Lambda) and ensure high availability.
• Manage Kubernetes clusters, deploy workloads with Helm, and support scaling and upgrades.
• Develop and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD and ArgoRollouts.
• Extend monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic Stack and OpenTelemetry.
• Write automation scripts in Python, Go and Bash.
• Participate in cost‑review processes and implement resource‑optimisation measures.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of container orchestration and IaC best practices.
• Experience troubleshooting production incidents and performing capacity planning.
