DevOps Engineer – Mid-level (d/f/m)

About the role

We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Berlin. You will help us meet high-scale customer demand by improving our SaaS platform’s deployment processes, reliability, performance, tooling, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure on a major European cloud provider.
• Partner with product delivery teams to accelerate service delivery and bridge development-to-production gaps.
• Enhance developer experience by improving tooling, automation, performance metrics and CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously improve high-availability architecture, eliminating single points of failure.
• Maintain and refine monitoring systems to ensure rapid incident detection.
• Participate in on-call rotations, emergency drills and controlled high-availability testing.

Required profile

• Hands-on experience deploying and monitoring web applications, preferably Ruby on Rails with PostgreSQL.
• Strong Linux command-line and shell-scripting skills.
• Practical experience with a public cloud (AWS, GCP or Azure).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative mindset, clear communication and a passion for improving developer experience.
