HR Business Partner – Hamburg (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our international energy and commodities business in Hamburg. The role is highly visible, supporting senior leadership through change, integration and organisational development, and will be performed in a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to translate commercial priorities into people strategies and actionable plans.
• Lead organisational design, change management and post‑merger integration initiatives.
• Provide employee‑relations guidance, including handling works council interactions and German employment‑law compliance.
• Drive talent management, succession planning and leadership development across a fast‑paced international environment.
• Manage HR projects end‑to‑end, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of German employment law and experience working with works councils.
• Proven track record in business integration, transformation or post‑merger activities.
• Commercially minded, pragmatic and proactive with the ability to make decisions and drive results.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, comfortable engaging with senior executives.
