Platform Engineer – Secure Data Access & Connectivity

About the role

Join SAP’s Big Data Fabric Services team to design and build secure data access and connectivity capabilities for the SAP Data Accelerator. You will work on platform engineering that enables customers and SAP lines of business to leverage big‑data solutions across on‑premise, private and public clouds.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and ensure operability of platform features.
• Develop production‑ready capabilities with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Maintain high reliability, efficiency, and quality standards.
• Collaborate in an agile Scrum team to deliver sprint goals.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in new or existing code.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related field.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures and complexity analysis.
• Experience with cloud‑native development and Kubernetes environments.
• Knowledge of networking concepts for distributed systems.
