Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud & Robotics

About the role

RobCo is building autonomous industrial robots and needs a senior DevOps / SRE professional to own and evolve its cloud infrastructure. You will work on the edge platform that powers robots in the field, MLOps pipelines, and the developer platform that accelerates the whole team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the reliability, security and cost‑efficiency of the AWS environment.
• Design, implement and manage infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform or equivalent.
• Develop and ship services in Go, Python or other languages as required.
• Own monitoring, alerting, observability, incident response and post‑mortems.
• Enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption, least‑privilege access).
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and reduce toil.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on deployments, capacity planning and cost optimisation.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps, SRE or platform engineer.
• Proven ability to make architectural decisions and mentor others without day‑to‑day direction.
• Strong background in cloud security and production‑grade observability.

Required skills

• AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, EC2)
• Terraform or similar IaC tool
• Kubernetes deployment, operation and troubleshooting
• Go and/or Python programming
• IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, encryption
• Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog or comparable observability stack
