Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Join ANNAX, part of Wabtec Corporation, to develop production‑ready software for distributed passenger information systems used by rail operators worldwide. As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on high‑performance, mission‑critical applications that deliver real‑time travel information to millions of passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reusable software modules for networked display devices.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed software specifications and configurations.
• Define and evolve device software architecture in collaboration with system engineering experts.
• Develop software aligned with modern cybersecurity standards and validate its security posture.
• Create tools and utilities that improve development productivity and workflow efficiency.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience developing large‑scale, embedded or distributed software.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and within a motivated, cross‑functional team.
• Strong analytical skills to design robust component architectures from complex requirements.
