Senior Solutions Architect

About the role

Automat-it, an AWS Premier Partner focused on the startup ecosystem, is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join its pre‑sales team. Working remotely from Berlin or Munich, you will collaborate with Account Executives to design, propose, and document AWS solutions that help fast‑growing startups scale securely and cost‑effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with startup customers to understand business challenges and translate them into AWS architectures, cost‑efficient designs, and security‑focused solutions.
• Produce Statements of Work (SOW), high‑level designs (HLD) and detailed roadmaps for improving existing AWS environments.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to ensure all solutions follow AWS best practices.
• Represent Automat‑it in the cloud community through blogs, webinars, workshops and conferences.
• Travel locally to meet customers and partners, and internationally at least once per quarter.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience designing end‑to‑end solutions on AWS.
• At least 2 years in a technical, customer‑facing role such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Engineer or Presales Engineer.
• Strong communication skills in German (professional) and English (professional).
• Ability to lead full pre‑sales engagements together with account management.
