Voice AI Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Voice AI Engineer to join telli’s fast‑moving AI‑pilled team. You will own end‑to‑end projects, make core product and technical decisions, and help shape the future of consumer‑facing voice agents that handle millions of daily calls.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain reliable, scalable systems that form the core infrastructure for voice AI services.
• Own critical components and ensure high availability for large‑scale voice interactions.
• Solve novel challenges that arise from scaling Voice AI to millions of daily calls.
• Evaluate and integrate cutting‑edge AI models to push performance limits for our customers.

Required profile

• Product‑focused engineer who values speed, high ownership and agency.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments and applying first‑principles thinking.
• Team‑oriented mindset, prioritising collective output over individual accolades.

Required skills

• Experience with distributed systems.
• Hands‑on expertise in developing and deploying AI models.
• Familiarity with Voice AI technologies and large‑scale voice processing.
