Developer – BTP Metering & Reporting

About the role

As a Developer on the BTP Metering & Reporting team, you will create cloud‑native services that capture and report usage of SAP products worldwide. Your work will directly support billing, compliance and consumption‑based business models across the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services and REST APIs using Java and Go.
• Develop and maintain data models, schema designs and efficient SQL queries.
• Integrate services with SAP billing and compliance systems.
• Build, test and deploy containers on Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 3+ years of backend development experience with Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring (MVC / Boot) and REST API design.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL databases, data modelling and query optimisation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry).
• Collaborative mindset, clear communication and ownership of delivered features.
