Full Stack Engineer – Node.js & TypeScript

About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design, build and scale modern applications. You will work with Node.js on the backend and TypeScript on the frontend, collaborating closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers in a hybrid Berlin office.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build responsive, high‑quality frontend applications with TypeScript and modern web frameworks.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features from concept to production.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and improve application performance.
• Contribute to code reviews and mentor other engineers where appropriate.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Node.js for backend development.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and modern frontend development.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerised applications (Docker/Kubernetes is a plus).
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
