Lead Product Manager

About the role

As a Lead Product Manager at Alasco you sit at the centre of the product organisation, shaping strategy and delivering customer value. The role combines raising the bar for the whole team and owning a product area with a small engineering group.

Key responsibilities

• Define product strategy, decide investments and set clear recommendations on what not to pursue.
• Coach PMs during discovery, improve problem framing and test assumptions early.
• Own the quarterly planning cadence, map dependencies across product, engineering, design and marketing.
• Participate in customer discovery, support deals and bring market insights into product decisions.
• Work closely with a small engineering team to ship improvements regularly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Lead, Principal or Staff PM or equivalent level.
• Deep understanding of SaaS or complex B2B relationship‑driven products and their impact on sales cycles.
• Ability to influence and challenge experienced PMs without taking ownership of their decisions.
• Fluent in German and English.
