Senior Frontend Engineer – Streaming Platform

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level frontend engineer to join the STAGE+ streaming platform team at Deutsche Grammophon in Berlin. You will help shape the next generation of our premium classical‑music video and audio service, collaborating closely with product, design and cross‑platform engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen the WebApp/Frontend team as a product‑mindful technical contributor.
• Design, develop and ship impactful features from concept to production.
• Own and evolve the WebApp, including landing pages, the streaming player and related components.
• Translate stakeholder needs into pragmatic, scalable, user‑focused solutions.
• Participate in architectural discussions and guide long‑term platform evolution.
• Leverage AI, automation and lightweight tooling to streamline workflows.
• Support tracking and analytics at the intersection of frontend, product and business.
• Collaborate with iOS, Android and Smart TV teams to foster a self‑organised engineering culture.

Required profile

• Solid engineering background with modern web technologies.
• Ability to build, configure, test and ship software without over‑complicating solutions.
• Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, code quality and maintainability.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability and cloud environments.
• Curiosity about AI, automation and internal tooling.
• Comfort analysing ambiguous problems and communicating with both technical and business stakeholders.
